MAYFAIR
Thursday May 17th 6pm-8:30pm

Mayfair is an annual event at Central not to be missed! Hope to see everyone there!

Thank You to everyone who is helping prepare for this exciting event!
Interested in getting involved? We NEED you! We are looking for donations of silent auction items and raffle prizes (gift certificates, tickets, new items such as toys and sporting goods). Also - baking donations will be needed along with donations of used books, DVD's, CD's and VHS tapes. The media and baking tables are always favourites at our Mayfair event!

Please send donations to the school office.

Junior and Senior Kindergarten Registration
If you have a child who was born in 2008 he/she is eligible to start JK in Sept 2012
If you have a child who was born in 2007 he/she is eligible to start SK in Sept 2012
Registration is currently taking place.
Please call the office to ask for your registration package. 519-623-0940
Children who currently attend kindergarten do not have to register for next year
You must provide proof of age and proof of address to register.

Strong Start

Chocolate Bar Campaign
Great job Central!~ We sold $10,682.29 worth of chocolate bars!  Money raised will be used to continue buying books as well as to purchase new iPads for the school. Thanks to all who supported this!


        

A note from Central's library . . .

Book Fair
Thank you for all the support with Central's book fair.~We exceeded our goal and sales were $3,343.15!~ The library is able to purchase $1,863.48 worth of books.~Watch the new book section of the library for their arrival.

Blue Spruce Reading Program
Great job primary classes for reading all 10 books!~

Central's top 3 choices were:~1st - Stanley's Little Sister, 2nd - One Hockey Night and 3rd - Kiss Me.~ Keep up the great reading!

Silver BirchReading Program
Our program has come to an end and our junior students have voted!~

Central's choices for each category were:
Express:~ 1st - Banjo of Destiny, 2nd - The Time Time Stopped and 3rd - When Apples Grew Noses and White Horses Flew:~Tales of Ti-Jean

Non-Fiction:~ 1st - 50 PoisonousQuestions:~ A Book with Bite, 2nd -Highway of Heros and 3rd - Totally Human:~Why We Look and Act the way we do

Fiction:~ 1st - Ghost Messages, 2nd - Milo:~Sticky Note and Brain Freeze and 3rd - Ghosts of the Titanic
